60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir from Vineyards planted on Sussex Downs Chalk 2006, aged in old oak barrels and stainless steel.

Tasting Notes: Notes of flint, oyster shell, pineapple with crushed grains, hay and shortbread. On the palate a distinct salinity with sharp Chardonnay attack making the wine precise, pure and clean.

Acidity and tropical fruit flavours are balanced with biscuit and pastry tones giving richness and complexity.

Restrained and fine, this has outstanding potential for further development.
